Weigan IoT Technology Co., Ltd., based on the construction content of public water supply pipeline leakage control, and relying on years of accumulation in IoT research and development technology and project implementation experience, has designed the "Intelligent Solution for Pipeline Leakage Control (Intelligent Management System Solution for Public Water Supply Pipeline Leakage Control)". The system consists of an intelligent management platform for water supply pipeline leakage control in the monitoring center and 5 subsystems: 1) Pipeline pressure monitoring and pressure regulation 2) District metering management 3) Noise monitoring 4) Urban ecological water consumption metering and supervision 5) Fire water consumption metering and supervision

 Promote the implementation of intelligent construction projects for water supply pipelines  Master all data of water supply pipelines and clarify the status of pipeline leakage  Intelligent pressure regulation to achieve water supply balance across the city and reduce pipeline leakage  Accurately measure public water usage such as municipal, greening, sanitation, and fire-fighting, replace the "lump-sum fee" system, and reduce leakage caused by fuzzy     measurement errors  Evaluate the effectiveness of water supply pipeline transformation and assist in improving the management system of water supply pipelines


System Description

1. Installation of an Information Management Platform for Pipeline Leakage Control in the Monitoring Center A B/S version software is installed, allowing supervisors to access it via a software address on computer or mobile browsers. The central platform and on-site pipeline intelligent terminals form an intelligent management system, enabling information-based and intelligent control of the entire water supply pipeline network. It calculates water volume composition, analyzes key indicators such as leakage rate, loss rate, and production and sales difference, which is conducive to guiding pipeline planning and renovation, evaluating the effectiveness of leakage control, and assisting in the implementation of pipeline management systems. This system can achieve data intercommunication and platform sharing with revenue, meter management, dispatch management, etc. 2. Pipeline Pressure Monitoring and Pressure Regulation Smart manhole covers for pipeline pressure are installed at key nodes of trunk, branch pipelines and various zones to monitor pipeline pressure in real time, warn of insufficient pressure and pipe burst accidents, and provide data foundation for pipeline hydraulic models. In pipelines with large differences in pressure distribution, smart manhole covers for pressure regulation are installed to realize regional pressure control. On the premise of meeting the standard of water supply service pressure, the water supply pipeline network is regulated to reduce pipeline leakage. 3. District Metering Management First, the water supply pipeline network is divided into districts, and the district level and regional scope can be flexibly adjusted. Smart manhole covers for pipelines are installed at the entrances of all levels of districts to monitor pipeline pressure, flow and water quality. Integrated ultrasonic water meters can be installed at single flow measuring points. Cooperating with the central platform, it conducts water volume statistical analysis, leakage water volume analysis, DMA (District Metering Area) nighttime minimum flow analysis, new leakage assessment, etc., realizes zonal quantification of pipeline leakage, identifies "leakage disaster areas", and facilitates targeted leakage control measures. 4. Noise Monitoring In areas with severe leakage analyzed by the district metering management system, noise monitors are installed to further analyze and locate leakage points, so as to carry out timely repairs, reduce leakage, improve operation and maintenance efficiency, and ensure normal water supply. 5. Metering and Supervision of Urban Ecological Water Use Urban ecological water use such as municipal administration, greening, and environmental sanitation is managed separately from fire water use. Intelligent water intake hydrants are installed at several ecological dedicated water intake points evenly selected on non-busy urban roads. They have functions such as card-swiping water intake, accurate metering, and remote supervision, which reduce leakage and production and sales difference caused by ambiguous metering, improve water fee income, change the history of using fire hydrants for ecological water use in the past, protect fire-fighting facilities, and avoid faulty water leakage caused by frequent opening of fire hydrants.

6. Fire Water Metering Supervision Replace ordinary fire hydrants with intelligent fire hydrants to realize functions such as water outlet alarm, water consumption metering, water pressure monitoring, internal water accumulation alarm, collision alarm, and hydrant positioning. This improves the efficiency of inspection and maintenance, promptly detects water theft from hydrants and faulty water leakage, reduces pipe network leakage, and ensures that fire hydrants are easy to find and usable in case of fire.
